Sims 3 not starting , first time playing

I bought it on steam and when I press play, it comes up w the Home Screen but then when I press the play button it just says “unable to start game, service initialization failed (0x0175d824)” I’ve done the affinity thing for the launcher, I’ve viewed intergrity of files, I’ve taken the file out of my EA folder, I’ve restarted my laptop twice, it just keeps saying the same thing , please help!
