My mother just told me she hated she were never alone when me and my siblings were kids

She really wanted to be alone at home sometimes, but she never was with 3 children. At some point my parents got a summer cottage, where she went alone occasionally, but that was when us kids were over 10 years old.

And I totally understand. She was probably suffering. I love being alone at peace and if I feel like I lose myself if I don’t get my silent hours daily. So it’s no kids for me.
