Maine passes bill allowing plug-in solar devices without utility approval (LD 1730)
Maine just passed a bill allowing plug-in solar devices (LD 1730).
The bill allows systems up to 1,200 watts to connect to standard outlets without utility approval.
Maine becomes the third U.S. state to pass this type of legislation.
Do you think plug-in solar could scale in the U.S.?
