Gallbladder Surgery

I’m having my gallbladder removed laparoscopically on April 13. I’ve had some on and off nausea and mild abdominal pain on the right side for the past six months so my doctor decided to do some testing which included a gallbladder ultrasound. The ultrasound found one 2.5 centimeter gallstone, which they’re telling me is large, and are recommending the gallbladder be removed. My rheumatologist is recommending I skip my weekly Orencia shots for two weeks (which I’m dreading) after the surgery. I normally don’t do well when I have to skip one shot, never mind two. So I’m wondering if anyone else with RA has had gallbladder removal, how did the recovery go, did you flare afterward, etc.
