Should I get Base or Pro?

I am thinking about getting a Thor, but I am conflicted about which model to get. I really like the rainbow color, but an extra $80 for 4gb more RAM and cool color seems like a lot. I want to do a bit of Game Native (for indie games); do you need the extra 4gb of ram to do that? Does the black color actually show a ton of fingerprints, or is that just something that youtubers gripe about?
