Criminal background check

I submitted my package in mid-November and everything is still "processing in process". I've emailed and been reassured that I don't need to submit additional documents. It's been over 120 days at this point with no progress. Myy criminal background check will have expired by the time someone gets to my file, although ut was new when I submitted it.

Has anyone asked to submit an additional background check? (I don't have any criminal history)
