Stem cell facial in Philippines, marketing strategy or not?
Hi! I just got a “stem cell facial” treatment from a clinic and I wanted to ask for honest opinions because I’m not sure how to feel about it.
For context, I originally went in for something simpler (like a Hollywood facial), but I ended up being recommended a more expensive stem cell facial instead. I agreed to it, but now I’m wondering if I was upsold.
During the treatment, they applied different serums on my face and did the procedure (it felt like a combination of facial steps with active products being applied). My main concern is post-acne marks (reddish to dark spots), and I really want them to fade faster and improve my skin.
Right now, I’m trying to understand:
- Is a stem cell facial actually effective for acne marks?
- How long before I see real results (if any)?
- Did anyone here try it—what was your experience?
- Do clinics usually upsell treatments like this?
I don’t regret investing in myself, but I want to be smarter moving forward and know if this was worth it or not.
Any honest feedback (good or bad) would really help. Thank you!
