Error with CD burn

I've been trying to burn a CD but I keep getting the same message and with the same 5 songs that are towards the end of the playlist:

"Windows Media Player encountered an error while burning. Verify that the burner is connected properly and that the disc is clean and not damaged."

I have tried changing the burn speed to slow, turned off the volume match, and redownloaded different files in case the other ones I had were corrupted. The same problem keeps occurring.

Any other programs I can use?
