How to Catch Up For anime of Ascendance of a Bookworm: Part 3/S4

With the new season of Bookworm starting today, there are many ways to catch up to start watching S4 by Wit.

• The simplest way is to watch the anime. Which has this order.
  1. Ascendance of a Bookworm
  2. Ascendance of a Bookworm: Side Story
  3. Ascendance of a Bookworm S2
  4. Ascendance of a Bookworm S3
• If the production values put you off or you want more details and something more thorough, there is also the manga adaptation, which is excellent. Just read the manga adaptations for Part 1 and Part 2 before jumping to S4 done by Wit.
• Read the light novel. While this is probably the most optimal way to experience the series. It would seem odd to read the light novel to watch the anime since, more than likely, if you read the light novel, you would want to experience the full story in that medium as the novel is completed. As the difference between the medium of novels and anime and manga is different.
• Crunchyroll has 1 episode recap of Part 1 and Part 2 of the story. Which can be fine if you need a refresher. I highly advise NOT TO DO THIS if you have not watched the anime or read the manga or light novel. You will be doing yourself a disservice to this great story.
