Issues with new skates

Yo, I was in here a little while ago asking about new skates, and I ended up with Bauer M40s.

My old skates were a 6.5 size 3 in vapor x3s and they hurt my feet alot cause they werent wide enough, but my new skates are a 6 and fit 2 and I feel completely different. Obviously new skates will feel different, but the blade is so different that I feel totally out of control. The skates are baked to my feet, but they still feel super odd.

Any tips on breaking them in and getting used to the differences? I have asd and going to public skates on them so far has only ended in meltdowns because they're giving me sensory overload, which never happened with my old ones.
