High School “love” a tale of yesterday

Yesterday, my student talked all day excitedly, as he started being boyfriend girlfriend with a new girl and today she even gave him a note to confirm it.

He was excited all day, “man, I feel so good about this,”. “Man, Ava and I get along so well.” “I am so excited to be going with Ava.” Ava this, Ava that… so ecstatic. During each passing period he ran to the opposite part of the building and walked her to class, often being late to his own upon doing so, This went on all day, until about 20 minutes left in the school day. So I asked “ what is her name?” He replied “Ava!”

I said, check the note from this morning again, her name is Asa.
