Missing Stations/ships in Ubuntu

I was very pleasantly surprised to see that Steam/X4 ran on Ubuntu.

But, once the game started, all my ships and stations were gone as well as any game progress made so far.

Apparently it some sort of Cloud Sync Conflict. I did, however verify X4 Install Integrity and restarted the game to no avail.

Has anyone had this issue and how is it dealt with?
