Those Toast Topper spreads…tell me some

When I was growing up in the 70s and 80s we didn’t buy Toast Toppers in my house so when a friend offered me some I accepted. She presented me with toast spread with this stuff and I bit it and it was cold and disgusting.

Was that how you were meant to serve them?
