Needless Death

We all will die from old age, unavoidable illness, accidents, or in some other manner beyond our control. Though it is painful to lose one close to us, we understand their death is part of life’s journey.

There are others though, dying needlessly, due to senseless wars, hunger, random violence. Dying due to our inaction and acceptance of the status quo.

Every time a needless death occurs, the world loses part of its soul. Each life, though different in appearance, beliefs, accomplishments, is equally important, invaluable; their soul no longer alive to share its wisdom and unconditional love with the world. Their death is a reflection of living in an immoral world; a world where fear is accepted over courage, prejudice over acceptance, and hate over love.
