Strategy to score 320 in NEET 2027

Hi everyone,

I would really appreciate focused guidance on my son’s NEET 2027 preparation strategy.

• He is finishing 11th grade in the US next month.
• He started NCERT Biology Book 1 last week.
• There are ~35 chapters total — is targeting 2 chapters per week reasonable?
• Plan is to finish Biology NCERT by end of August since he’ll have more time during summer.
• Target score: ~250 in Biology and ~70 in Chemistry (overall goal ~320).
• For Chemistry, he plans to start slow during summer (May–August).
• For each chapter, he is solving PYQs alongside theory.

Questions:

1. Should he take a chapter-wise mock test before moving to the next chapter?
2. Any good resources for chapter-wise mock tests?
3. What is the best strategy to stay motivated and make steady progress toward this goal?
