MtF: Muscle snapping?

Hey y’all!! I’m going on 2y of E injections, and maybe around half a year ago I first noticed this strange bodily sensation: sometimes, I get these satisfying muscle cracks. Sort of like when you crack your knuckles or your back, but now imagine there’s a tension in your shoulder muscle that, with some maneuvering, you can release with a ‘crack.’ It happens mainly in my upper shoulder muscles.

I’ve tried looking into it but haven’t really gotten an answer. My theory is that the muscle fibers are shrinking and therefore pushing up against each other, and the ‘crack’ is them releasing that tension.

Does this happen to anyone else, and if so, what are your thoughts?
