F2F adapter connecting two Anker 2-in-1 cables?

I realize usb-c cable extensions are not part of the spec, and for good reason since the power adapter only negotiates with the first cable and may wind up sending too much power to the adapter and/or second cable.

I'm wondering if using a 240w rated F2F adapter to extend two Anker 2-in-1 cables might effectively work around this concern, because the cables would negotiate with each other and the adaptor would be "oversized" for the max load supported by the cables.

Thoughts?
