First game on my custom Tomb World board

Finally finished the terrain and got the first game in. We played an Extraction mission (SHIFTING LABYRINTH, Map Layout 6).

**Three Paths Forward**

The Battleclads split into three teams. The main group moved through the center and reached the main chamber without raising the alert level. At the same time, a flank team breached a wall and positioned near the tomb entrance, while the third team pushed the right side to prepare an attack via teleporter. The coordinated strike worked initially and the Necrons took early losses, but the Kill Team couldn’t secure control of the room.

**Tomb Awakens**

Then the situation turned. Hard close combat, no progress, no ground gained. The threat level reached 3, and the Reanimation Protocols card brought back four Necrons instead of removing them. The exit shifted and suddenly the way out was longer.

**Breakthrough or die**

The team attempted a breakthrough, but the last fleeing servitor managed to break free from melee only to be cut down by pursuing Necrons. Once the team dropped below 50% strength, extraction was no longer achievable.

Extraction failed again.

The setup with narrow corridors, shifting layout and constant close combat plays really well.
