Should I buy the 17 or wait for the 18 ?

I’m trying to decide whether it’s worth waiting for the iPhone 18, but I’m not convinced.

From what we saw, the jump from the 16 to the 17 is pretty minor (mainly just the promotion/refresh rate upgrade). So if that trend continues, what’s actually going to be different about the 18?

Are there any solid leaks or expectations for bigger changes? The only thing I’ve heard is a potentially smaller notch, but if that’s it then it doesn’t seem worth waiting another year.

What do you guys think? will the iPhone 18 be a bigger upgrade over the 17, or more of the same incremental changes?
