A little backstory: My original character, who was transformed into TADC one, called Salmon. Salmon is non-human, non-ai, just a being that learns and develops as an AI, but technically he is not it. Salmon can transform in any form, travel everywhere and learn every alive creature to remember their patterns and use them. He is based on emotions, that's why he becomes a xylophone inspired character, because colorful tiles represent his emotions!

So, if he is non-human, how did he trap inside Digital Circus? Well, he xan appear in every universe, travelling by teleportation. But, unfortunately for him, when he appeared in DC, he forgot half of his memory, including his abilities. His power was equal to other 6 characters and he became another "victim" of Digital Circus realm. But because of his emotions, he is taken as another person by the main six. As another human being.

Xylos can sympathise. He can show emotions. And the unique thing - his emotions are shown not only hy his face expression, but with colour too. Bigger power of emotion - bigger brightness of the colour! So you really know when you need to approach him and when you need to stay away.

He doesn't remember his real name. He does not have his powers in Digital Circus. But because of his friendly appearance and actions help him to keep Caine calm and help him feel a little bit more sympathetic towards the main cast. As we know, AI can't feel actual emotions. Human beings - probably the only one creatures that can feel and understand their emotions. Xylos is build by emotions, that's why he is closer to other human beings. But, he also works as an AI - he analyses, remembers, recreates. But he is independent with his actions, unlike Caine, who has to do his only work he was learned to do. So Xylos, understanding both sides, is a creature, who helps Caine to understand human's psychology and emotions, and helps the main cast to understand how Caine is working, keeping the balance between both sides (of we talk about the time before 8th episode).

Why does Xylos hate Bubble? Speaking about one of my favourite theories, I believe, Bubble - is a virus. Some more backstory: Salmon used to have viruses in his body and system that were destroying him emotionally. He doesn't care about physical pain, he never feels it not in his home world, not in the DC realm. But emotionally he is easy to break (almost alike Caine who gets mad, but Xylos would mostly get abstracted if he was consumed by one certain emotion for a long time. For example: when you feel sad, you feel hopeless, desperate, apathetic and then maybe depressed and because of this you would probably get abstracted because of losing hope and your mind. That works the same for Xylos). So, Xylos sees Bubble as a virus, as a threat. And always stays far away from him and sometimes pops him whenever he appears with Caine or without Caine.

What about Xylos's feelings towards Caine? As I said, Xylos doesn't hate Caine and sympathises him as well as the main cast. He finds Caine interesting and sometimes learns about his patterns, character and his actions. Yeah, Xylos has feeling for Caine, but MOSTLY sees him as a bestie. He is patient and has a goal to make Caine at least to understand the concept of human beings, as soon as Caine was only learned to entertain people, not exactly understand their feelings (please, let me know if I'm wrong). By that, Xylos finds Caine adorable when Caine tries to know and analyse more (because that's what AI mostly does, even a generative AI needs something to consume to recreate something else, and I think that can work with emotions as well, but much harder). LET THEM JUST BE AND PLEASE DO NOT THROW TOMATOES AT ME, please, I hope it's not forbidden or too cringe to make OC love Caine, as it was with Mary Sues in 2017 😭?

And yeah, Xylos appeared in TADC when Queenie was still there with Kinger, that's why he used to know her as well.

If you ever find my OC or his TADC version interesting, ask me more in the comments! <333

My OC if he was trapped in TADC (art by me) + a little bit about him and his TADC appearance!
