To text or not to text?

My girlfriend of 6 months decided to end things Thursday citing what she felt were fundamental compatibility issues. She's someone who is very outwardly affectionate, and I'm just not like that. In my opinion that's something that can be worked on and deserved a conversation, not an outright relationship termination.

This whole thing has come as a major shock to me. She had been as loving as ever and even took me to meet her entire family for the first time last Friday. We were making plans to go to weddings together in the summer, camping, blah blah blah, and then boom, it's over without warning. The whiplash is really affecting me and I just want to understand it all, but I understand that space might be necessary also.

That said, do I reach out? Or do I hop right on the no contact train?
