What are some unique regional challenges you deal with?

I deliver in Pittsburgh, and we have not only steep hills, but also steep driveways up to steep steps up to a mailbox right next to the beloved customer’s front door.

I imagine Floridian carriers have to watch out for alligators and shit. Besides the usual extreme weather variations across the country, what’s something other people in the same career haven’t considered about your area?
