Memorable Experiences that I love

My family isn’t the best but the moment that I drive back to a place that I rent, I feel freedom like I can do anything and go anywhere (with reasonable restrictions, of course). I have a few neighbours and they are amazing, we got close pretty quickly and even though all of us have different time schedules, we still manage to spend time/have dinner/tell some gossip with each other. Almost every day I have a smile on my face, like my life is all sunshine and rainbows. I would get stressed at times but with them, I don’t get overwhelmed or anything, as if their presence just help me calm down and collect my mind.

I’m with another circle of friends and they were going to the mall and maybe do some thrift shopping, I was declining since I don’t have any extra money but they said that they could just pay first and I could pay them back. I was about to decline but they pulled me and insisted, which I did go. After shopping, they were worried that I didn’t get to eat because it was almost 8 PM and I haven’t had any dinner yet. I was almost out of budget and insisted that I can eat when I come back to my place but what they did is buy food for me behind my back. I was almost close to crying because it was so sweet of them and I cursed them out in a good way. They insisted that I should eat and wouldn’t let me pay them. I loved that experience.

Another time is where I was a regular of a sushi store near my place. The owners recognize me now because they would always smile and be happy that I always go to their place regularly when I have extra money. There was a time that I was short on money to get the type of sushi that I wanted and the maker insisted on paying extra, even his wife chimed in and told me that I deserve it. I was so happy because they were such angels and I couldn’t let them charge extra because whenever I visit them it’s empty but I could guess it’s packed during mid day.

I love the little things that I get to experience. I love the freedom. I love that I can do whatever I want, go wherever, stay late or anything else that I wished to experience back when I was a teenager.
