Trophy Hunting.

I'm trying to get the trophies where you have to kill a certain amount if enemies with the flamethrower and beast mode, but since the game doesn't show your kill stats, does anyone know if I kill lets say 300 with beast mode on my first playthrough and start ng+ does the progress carry over, or do I have to kill all 666 enemies on the second playthrough again?
