Clara 2E or BW

Hi!

Im looking to buy my first ever ereader and I need help choosing. I saw kobo sells refurbished Clara 2E’s and from my research it seems people generally don’t recommend upgrading to the BW since it has pretty similar specs…but that’s if they already have the 2E.

I was wondering if it’s worth the extra ~$40-50 to get the newest model if I’m a first timer, or if the 2E is just as good.

(If I did get the cheaper I would probably then spend the money I saved on the remote, ha ha)
