• 2007 limited edition of 500 units, made of diffusion bonded acrylic in a stunning swirling pattern, and fitted with a two-tone 18K gold Broad Italic nib.

• In excellent condition. Some faint microscratches on the body and trims are visible from specific angles, but the pen otherwise presents as near mint.

• 2023 limited edition, inspired by the Art Deco stylings of Rene Prou and the eponymous Orient Express train. This one is number 871/1883.

• Made of dark blue resin, the first for an officially released Montblanc 149, with a cream-coloured snowflake on the cap finial and gold-plated trims. The cap and nib are engraved with art deco motifs inspired by the marquetry work of Rene Prou, the French designer who decorated the Orient Express's passenger carriages.

• Every pen in this series came with a 18K gold medium nib as standard, but this one was sent back to Montblanc and fitted with an extra fine nib.

• Apart from being dip tested during the nib exchange service, the pen is unused and in new old stock condition, with just a few faint scuff marks from long-term storage.

• Comes in a big coffret (French for 'box'...), various documentation, plus an ink bottle and notebook.
