Bhrumadhya meditation - 17 days Progress Report: Transitioning to Dual-Core Awareness (Mental Anchor + Thought Observation)
TL;DR: Moved from a single-focus "spotlight" to a partitioned awareness. I can now hold a stable mental coordinate at the brow while simultaneously observing background thoughts without "system hijacking." Seeking peers to discuss the next phase of this stabilization.
The Observation:
Method: 15-minute daily sessions focusing on a specific mental coordinate at the brow.
The Progress: I’ve moved from an "Either/Or" toggle (focusing on the anchor vs. watching thoughts) to a Virtual Partition.
The Mechanics: One "Core" stays locked on the anchor (purely mental, no physical tingle required), while the other "Core" observes thoughts as background data. The thoughts are present, but they don't "capture" the main processor or break the concentration.
Previous Markers: Have experienced "Surreal Whiteness" and internal "Bells" (consistent with Kutastha/Anahata Nada descriptions).
Questions for Peers:
Next Phase: Once this dual-awareness stabilizes, does the "White Light" typically return as a byproduct of the stability, or does the practice move toward a more "Void-centric" experience?
Depth Indicators: Are there specific frequency shifts in the internal sound (Bells) or "Neural Pings" I should look for as the partition becomes more permanent?
Resources: Looking for recommendations for neuro-phenomenology or technical literature that focuses on the mechanics of consciousness rather than religious frameworks.
