Not sure if I should ask a customer out.

Hello! First time poster, thanks for any input for those who sit through this.

A few days ago I delivered a pallet of restaurant supplies to a customer. It was raining really hard so I broke down the pallet and stacked all the boxes inside for her. She was very thankful and while I was packing up my truck she asked me if I wanted a drink. Delivery was at a boba shop so it wasn’t an alcoholic drink. I usually don’t think much about this kind of stuff because customers give me free drinks/food all the time, but in this instance she was bouncing on her feet and swinging her arms and smiling a lot at me. She made me this really tasty mango-yogurt boba drink and told me it was her favorite drink. I thanked her and left to finish my delivery route.

The main reason I didn’t say anything then and there is because I was on the clock, and wanted to maintain professionalism. But after thinking about it for a few days, I’m wondering if I should go back when I’m off the clock and maybe see if there’s chemistry there? That shop is on my new route and will be a regular stop for me, so I’ll very likely have to see her again anyway.

As an aside, I rarely assume people are flirting with me because I am kinda clueless and just assume everyone’s being nice. But this felt kinda obvious to me.

Thanks for reading!
