Advice for Schengen (VFS) appointments - brothers wedding in July

My brother's wedding is in Europe in July - I'm desperate to go at any cost

I was in the waiting list for Greece appointments (VFS - Dubai) but I was informed recently that they all got canceled.

Can anyone give me any ideas about that? I also have a permanent residence in Canada and a UAE residence. Can I go to muscat to apply? What other options do I have? Has anyone gotten VFS/Schengen appointment since the war started.
