Urgent help needed with bonbons!! Please help
I'm trying to keep this straightforward.
I am a culinary student in India in a not so good college, and one of my subjects is chocolate making. I have my final semester exam (final exam of my degree) on coming Monday and in the menu there are bonbons.
My professors have taught my class about making bonbons using cocoa butter and polycarbonate moulds etc, but we usually use compound chocolate as couverture is expensive and my college is cheap as hell.
All of a sudden my professor drops the bomb (today which is Saturday) that for the exam, they cannot order cocoa butter or couverture chocolate, so we have to make the bonbons using compound chocolate. I am absolutely bummed because I have a keen interest in pastry and I even bought a polycarbonate mould and some powdered food colours especially for the exam, and now I have no idea what to do! How on earth do I make bonbons using compound chocolate please help me. 🙏
