This AU is getting huge omg.

And before anyone asks, my AU is simple, some of the bigger experiments (like Ms. Delight, Mommy, Kissy and Huggy) were former employees who broke the rules or found out something they shouldn’t have, after Rowan and some others were killed, Leith realized just how inefficient the killing was since most of the toys worked with the kids or under and couldn’t work with maintenance or something, so, they decided to turn some employees into toys.

Since we don't know anything about MLL and DLL minus MLL's human name, I gave them some designs, personalities, and a name for DLL.

Human DLL (aka Danny Woods) was a man in his early forties, he was pretty self-centered, only caring about himself much of the time. He never wanted kids, but worked in the Game Station because the pay was decent and Leith moved him there from maintenance and he couldn't complain if he wanted to keep his job. He had been divorced once but never mentioned it, no one even knew he was married because he never wore a ring. But when he met Marie, he decided to "work" on himself.

Human MLL (aka Marie Payne) was a kid woman who had always wanted kids, she never had any lovers before joining Playtime Co., but had always dreamed of being a mother and having children, lots of them, running around the house and making a mess. She volunteered at schools and winter camps just to experience what that felt like, she was confident that she wanted a minimum of three children. Her mentality was strong and she was independent, having her own two story home and made a very good living in Playtime Co.

Marie and Danny met when he was transferred to the Game Station, Marie was instructed to show him the ropes. Danny started sweet talking with Marie, which somehow worked, she started to fall for him, even if she was only in her early thirties. Danny noticed that Marie was started to fall and used it to his advantage, he wanted to gain something from their relationship, he didn’t care what he would gain, as long as it would help him. They soon started dating, then spending nights together at Marie’s apartment, and before long, they were engaged, Danny even gave Marie a leaf hair clip as an early wedding gift.

Around three months after their engagement, Danny started acting weird, coming home at odd hours, avoiding Marie unless it was at the Game Station, Marie got suspicious and decided to follow him on one of his “trips”. That was when Marie found out that he’s been seeing his ex wife. He’s been cheating. Marie almost lost it, she was about to storm him and his wife when she calmed herself down and decided to talk with him in the factory. When that happened, Danny rolled his eyes at Marie and told her that it was none of her business what he was doing, Marie snapped and started yelling at him. Danny rolled his eyes again and ignored everything he was saying. Meanwhile, Theo, Arthur, Sam and Cassie were walking nearby and overheard the conversation. They started listening and found out that they were supposed to get married within the next year, they hadn’t meant to eavesdrop and were just about to leave when Danny started to raise his hand at Marie. Arthur didn’t even think, he was throwing Danny to the ground in a moments notice, Theo and Sam followed while Cassie went to check on Marie. Danny got up from the ground and cussed them out before leaving. Sam mumbled about how much of a Bastard he was while Theo looked at Marie and told her to ignore him and how he was a real idiot for cheating on someone like her. Marie chuckled at that and thank them.

About a month or so after the incident with Danny, he was moved after Marie told Eddie about the incident. The group had become great friends, always hanging out together, inside and outside of work. But, Sam’s disappearance stopped everything. Cassie went down with Leith to see Sam, and was then turned into Kissy Missy. Soon thereafter, Theo and Arthur were turned into CatNap and DogDay respectively, and one of their other friends (he who shall not be named) was turned into another experiment. Marie was getting worried since all her closest friends were now gone. But one day, everything was about to change. Marie was getting ready to go into the Game Station when Leith came to her and told her that she was needed elsewhere, Marie was skeptical but followed, in the elevator, she saw CatNap, staring at her, Marie recognized him immediately.

*He was Theo.*

Marie was about to get out of the elevator when the Red Gas came out of CatNap’s mouth and she was knocked out. Harley had chosen Marie to be MLL since they needed someone who knew how to operate the games. Not just any random child, someone who knew the games inside out. That was why they had chosen Marie Payne. Marie later awoke as Mommy LongLegs. The first thing she saw was Ms. Gracie on the screen. Over the next few weeks, MLL would lose her sanity faster and faster, until she was no longer herself. And when she met DLL, her heart yelled danger while her mind didn’t even know who he was. DLL was Danny, and the small part of MLL that remembered her past still despised him. And she murdered him on the stop. There was nothing the scientists could do. MLL was losing her sanity completely. When the HoJ hit, something inside her wanted to find Leith under any and all circumstances, but she couldn’t. When she found Kissy, who was one of the few people she remembered, she hugged her until Huggy came and ripped off.

Fun fact: I have you all a little meme at the end. And I realized that the first letter of Mariel’s name is also the same as Mommy LongLegs, so I did the same for DLL.

Any questions about the AU will be answered.

Questions that were answered:

Q: Did Theo grow up in PlayCare like Dr. Newman did?

A: No, he was an employee who so happened to meet the Prototype while getting ready to leave.

Q: Are the Prototype and Poppy adults too?

A: No, they are still children. Some of the toys are still children while the bigger main ones (minus Doey and a few others) are adults.

Q: Do some of the younger toys hold any resentment and hate towards the adult ones?

A: Yes and no. The toys in Safe Haven like Kissy and DogDay since they help but are either afraid or hate CatNap and Huggy. Same thing goes for the toys under the Prototype.
