Have you guys gone through a experience where, you pass so well that when you come out as trans to people, they think you are , in good faith, transitioning to the opposite direction?
To illustrate this, imagine this dialogue.
A is a transgender person who already transitioned both hormonally and socially, gender conforming enough to "pass", but never revealed that they are transgender to B.
B is a supportive ally who met A already transitioned and to this point never knew that A was actually transgender but was a cis person of their gender instead.
A comes out to B
A: so...I must tell you something.
B: what is it?, you seem pretty worried.
A: It's not something I get to tell much but I think I trust you enough for this.
B: Okay...
A: I am trans.
B: Oh.
A: ... are you mad?
B: Nah, that's okay for me, so what name will you use, should I use "old pronouns"?
A: huh?
B: Did I say something wrong or weird? (actually unaware), I heard that trans people transition to the opposite gender.
A: oh...
A: ...I already transitioned, B.
B: OH FU-

Have you passed through that type of situation or something similar?
I hope that I worded it well.
