Worst Birthday Ever 🤧😭😡

Management here seems to have no respect for my time off, so of course I was scheduled today. This was after already missing Thanksgiving, Christmas, a family event, and an important meeting I needed for my taxes. Apparently I get to work my birthday too, when people just don't show up today or decide they're not coming in with no fuss. I ask for time off? " You should have asked earlier" is what I'm always told.. when I requested it off weeks before. No problem scheduling around anyone else's needs outside work, though.

Being that it's Saturday I'm stuck in the middle of trying to stock by myself for the first half of the shift, since the other people didn't come. Oh, and even though it's March and 75 outside they keep the heat on .. because apparently I'm not allowed to be comfortable. I have extreme sensitivy to heat up the point anything over 65 can get me dizzy and barely able to breathe. Is it too much to ask to just keep the heat off? I can't take off anything else, any of you can just put on a goddamn jacket. The second half of the night is an endless stream of customers while desperately trying to do my closing stuff. Oh sorry, left my whole cart! Oh, sorry, someone vomited in the parking lot, can you clean it up? Oh, can you seperate this into 7 different orders! And do I get to relax when I get home? Nope. I get to sleep and then kiss Easter with my family the next day.

This job is going to give me a heart attack before I make it to my next one I swear to God.
