Opinions on Wegman

Two weeks in and I’ve mostly stayed close to my locals stores. First reason being trying to learn the ropes and shop stores I know, second, I drive a pickup and other stores are further away.

Wegmans is 20 minutes from me surrounded by wealthy towns. I decided to pay a visit today and do a small batch and get a feel for the place.

It was shopper apocalypse but it was also the day before Easter. Overwhelming an understatement.

“However”, my phone was dinging every minute from orders there or the stores in the immediate area. Tons of activity and lots of under 10 mile batches.

When I sit near my local stores I can go 15-30 minutes with nothing. I guess I answered my own question. Should I just go there and hang instead of wasting my time with a lot of downtime locally? Or is wegmans sucky for one reason or another?

I mean, if looked pretty well stocked and layed out, unlike Aldi
