Should I start RE5/RE6 alone or wait for friends?

I've been playing through the RE series and so far I'm having a lot of fun. I attempted starting with RE0 and after 30 minutes of frustration I gave up and tried RE2 Remake. Ever since then I played RE1 Remake, RE2 Remake, RE3 Remake, RE4 Remake, and I'm going to play OG RE4 soon. I bought RE5 and RE6 on sale and 2 of my friends are also starting RE. They're going through 1 to 4 (remakes). They both just started RE1 and probably won't be very quick. Since I heard RE5 and RE6 are weaker entries in the franchise, should I wait for one of them to get to RE5, or start it myself and replay RE5 and RE6 when one of them gets to it?
