Workplace injury as a minor

I was injured while working at Bunnings when I was a minor, several decades ago. At the time, my manager made me sign a document that I didn't understand (on the spot, while I was bleeding and needing stitches) and then simply sent me off to the doctor. I have a prominent scar from this that was the cause of bullying while I was a kid.
I know this would be treated very differently in this day and age, however do I have any recourse now, particularly since I was a minor at the time. To me they absolutely failed in their duty of care in that regard.
