Why can't K-pop discussions stay focused on the specific artist at hand without devolving into other groups?

There was no reason to mention BTS 😭 And this goes for every group in general, why mention them just to hate when they aren't even involved in some issue. But I feel like this is especially applicable to BTS, they keep getting dragged in places where they aren't even involved in (the likes are crazy) just like with Olivia's new album.
