Supply dip on Day 3 of illness — normal?

Rant - ADVICE NEEDED

Hi mums 🤍

I’m 4 months postpartum and have been an “enougher” (usually producing ~650–750 ml/day with 5–6 pump sessions + occasional breastfeeding).

I recently came down with a viral illness (fever, chills, sore throat, low appetite). Interestingly, during the first 1–2 days of being sick, my pump output actually increased.

But on Day 3, I’ve suddenly seen a drop of around ~250–300 ml.

Has anyone experienced this pattern — initial increase followed by a dip during illness?

Did your supply bounce back after recovery, or did you need to actively work to bring it back up?

Would really appreciate hearing your experiences 🙏
