Oddly specific question; has anyone refused to go in for weight checks at the pediatrician?

Basically my 9m old has always gained weight slowly but he doubled his birth weight by 6 months and is on track to triple by a year old. At one point I was literally going to the ped twice a week for weight checks which put fear and doubt into my head and unnecessarily stressed me
