How does lining up for Night 2 usually work

Trying to understand how Night 2 shows (in the same city) typically unfold in terms of lining up

Are people from Night 1 going straight back to line up for Night 2 after the show?

Does a queue basically start immediately after Night 1 ends, or do venues clear it out?

Is there usually an unofficial numbering system or fan run line? What’s to stop me writing “1” on the back of my hand hehe

If you don’t line up overnight, is barrier basically out of the question?
