Mirror, mirror upon the wall, tell us which Hansel and Gretel retelling is the darkest of them all ? 🍭☁️👁☁️

For thy mind to grasp our desired range, none of these art considered dark enough...

The True Story of Hansel and Gretel -

Stephen King his near copy paste of the original Hansel and Gretel -

The Magic Circle -

A Tale Dark and Grimm -

The Indie Video Game one -

After the Forest - Kell Woods -

Hansel and Gretel - Neil Gaiman -

Neither of the movies - Gretel and Hansel / Hansel and Gretel Witchhunter / The Korean One.

Nor the Ebook PRIMAL

Anything crafted for those in youth of 18 - Prithee do not mention !

The video game one hath the gore but no depth in the plot, whilst The True Story of Hansel and Gretel doth vaguely resemble Hansel and Gretel, way too sunken into historic nazism, it lacketh the wonders and flair of magic !

We wish for something beyond any of those, if it be possible.

The magic aspect is not required to be true, but it needeth to be presented in the tale somehow, the candy house for example !
