Can I continue with zweihander till the end of the game?

Im fairly new to the game, ever since I tried the weapon, i haven't found a weapon which makes me want to use it over the zweihander, claymore came close but zweihander just slaps buttcheeks.

So far I've defeated-

asylum demon

taurus demon

bell gargoyles

moonlight butterfly

capra demon

gaping dragon

I got this ember type thing recently too and just arrived in blighttown which has been humbling
