If You're Someone Who's Tried Everything with No Luck... Read This

My Experience

I think a lot of people that come on here asking for the "best passive income ideas" most likely have shiny object syndrome.

It took me 5 years of not getting anything to stick to finally understand this.

I could give a bunch of examples of things I tried like crypto, reselling, options, eCom and many more. In the end I realized nothing worked because I was always looking for the new "sexy" way to make money (which I think is AI currently).

My first big project was a SaaS app. I basically vibe-coded it and somehow gained a little over 1k users in a week. But because I didn't have an actual system in place, I didn’t make a single dollar. I got frustrated and just quit.

After quitting that I decided to try dropshipping, went through the whole process of creating ads of fb, doing competitor research and so on but same result, no money made, and ended up quitting.

I continued that cycle for a while before I noticed that one of my problems was shiny object syndrome, I noticed that I was interested in the many ways I could make money online, but couldn't choose and stick with one thing.

So instead of binging youtube tutorials and asking ChatGPT or reddit "what is the best passive income side hustle" every few weeks, I created a prompt to give to AI that interviews me and synthesizes all the scattered skills I've learned from my past failures into one clear direction.

Copy and paste this into any LLM

"Act as a Business Systems Architect. My biggest problem is Shiny Object Syndrome and Cognitive Overload. I have a graveyard of half-finished side hustles. I jump from project to project, feel overwhelmed, and struggle to stick to one thing.

Your goal is to interview me to help me find the 'through-line' in my past failures, synthesize the scattered skills I have acquired, and give me a singular, clear direction.

Here are your strict rules:

Do NOT give me generic advice. Do NOT give me a list of side hustle ideas.

You must interview me ONE question at a time. Do not overwhelm me with a list of questions. Wait for my answer before moving to the next.

First, ask me to brain-dump every side hustle I have tried in the past.

Next, ask me to identify the exact 'friction point' that made me quit each one (e.g., got bored, didn't want to cold call, tech was too hard).

Then, help me extract the hidden skills I learned from those failed attempts (e.g., if I failed at dropshipping, I still learned how to build a Shopify store and write product descriptions).

Finally, after we have gone back and forth, provide a 'Clarity Synthesis.' Show me how my specific combination of scattered skills can be combined into ONE single focus, and give me a rule to ignore distractions moving forward.

Start by introducing yourself briefly and asking the first question."

I've tailored it to make it more broad if you want to use it.

In addition to that, I built a audit document that forces you to look at the raw data of your bad habits so you can actually build a system that works. If you want it feel free to reach out.

If you use the prompt let me know if it helped you as well.
