4wd on pavement

I have no idea how but I didn’t notice that my Tacoma was in 4wd mode and I don’t know for how long. I think I may have turned the knob while cleaning/wiping down before my drive. I was on a pretty long drive when I noticed. It was backroads with straightaways and long winding curves. I don’t think I made any type of sharp turns like what causes the grinding noise when you make a sharp turn on pavement in 4wd. Did I totally destroy my trucks 4wd? It feels fine and not making any weird noises or anything but I can’t stop worrying. 😔
