Is it a good idea to let the player lose all the score as part of gameplay?
This may sound silly but regardless, I can't give away too much information, but the idea is to let the player lose all the score at some point in the game, so they experience frustration with the character going through it l, as part of the story (emotional experience). Then eventually they will gain the score back faster after it. So when they lose the score they unlock an achievement, after that they will be able to gain more score faster, but the important part is that it will be unexpected.
