[M4F] The Movie Theater

I buy a ticket to an indie film I was looking forward to for a random night during the week. I tend not to like to go on the weekend because the crowds aren't as well behaved. I check back in the night of and at first I think I got the rare Holy Grail, a theater all to myself but to my surprise someone has selected the seat right next to mine. I hate when people do that. Maybe some other random cinephile looking for the best possible sight line. I feel a little put off but I reason to myself if they truly try to sit down next to me I can just move one over or even change aisles if I get a bad vibe from them. Lord knows there's enough time during the trailers to make any needed adjustments.

I walk in early and no one is there and I sit down hopeful that maybe the person will cancel. As the first trailer starts to my shock you walk in. You're not what I pictured at all. I assumed it would be some middle aged pale movie fan, but you're young and beautiful and I feel quite confused that you're here alone and for some reason settling in right next to me. Neither of us really acknowledges each other but I do try to steal a few side glances of you during the next few trailers. I'm finding it difficult to concentrate now. At some point during the last trailer I feel your hand brush against my leg. I mumble an apology imagining I somehow must have gotten too close to you. I lean as far as I can in the opposite direction but to my shock your hand is back on my leg and more insistent now. I fully turn to you but you're still looking at the screen. Not even acknowledging me. As the lights go down and the movie starts I get the feeling I might not catch all of this movie.
