advice to high school and undergrad self

hi all. i hope your law school applications are all going well. im a senior in high school and really want to go to law school. however, i'm having a tough time picking schools and understanding what actually matters towards going to a strong law school.

i'm stuck between gwu and unc (instate). financially, i can go to gwu with minimal loans. the bright lights of DC definitely are very attractive for me.

i wanted to ask, what advice would you give me? in all honesty, i had a pretty disappointing undergrad admissions cycle even with strong stats.
