Dealing with death
Hey everyone, I don’t usually post stuff like this, but I’m really having a hard time and don’t know where else to turn.
I lost my brother 2 weeks ago. He was only 33, and we were just a year apart I’m 32 We grew up side by side, and honestly, he wasn’t just my brother—he was my best friend.
I feel completely empty. We did everything together, and now it feels like there’s just this huge hole in my life that I don’t know how to fill.
I can’t stop thinking about him. Some days feel a little more manageable, but other days it hits me all over again like it just happened. I feel alone even when I’m around other people.
If anyone here has gone through losing a sibling or someone really close to you, how did you cope? Does it ever get easier? What helped you get through those moments when it feels overwhelming?
I’d really appreciate hearing from people who understand this kind of pain. Thank you for reading.
