My thoughts

Easter isn’t about a bunny, eggs, or candy.

It’s about a man who chose to lay down His life for us.

It’s about sacrifice, grace, and a love so deep that He took on our sins so we wouldn’t have to carry them alone.

He was beaten, mocked, and crucified… not because He had to, but because He loved us that much.

And the story doesn’t end at the cross — it ends with victory. With hope. With a reminder that no matter how far we fall, we are never beyond redemption.

Lately, I’ve felt this even deeper in my own life. Learning to show grace to people who feel so far from the cross… people who seem blind to the truth and hardened in their ways. I pray they find salvation, even when it feels like they’re wishing for my downfall.

But that’s where faith is tested — choosing grace anyway, choosing prayer anyway, and refusing to let bitterness take root. That’s what sets us apart. That’s what makes us stronger, and more like Him.

So while the world celebrates with traditions, I choose to remember the true meaning:

A Savior who gave everything so we could have life. ✝️
