My best friend went missing… but he’s still texting me

My best friend, Alex, disappeared two weeks ago.
Police found his car, his wallet, his phone—everything except him.

Last night, I got a text from his number:

“Don’t look for me.”

I replied instantly:
“Where are you? Are you safe?”

He sent a photo.

It was my bedroom.
Taken from inside my closet.
